ANGIE SPERANZA / Co-FOUNDER AND Chief creative

Prior to co-founding GirlBand, Angie was Vice President of the Television Division at an industry leading trailer house in NYC. There, she was responsible for the creation of all trailers and broadcast/social campaigns for their television and streaming clients including several of the largest forces in the industry – HBO, Epix, Netflix, Amazon, ABC, and NBC.

At Showtime Networks, Angie was Vice President and Senior Creative Director. During her 12-year tenure as creative head of Series and Theatrical promotion, she spearheaded award-­winning and bar-­setting initiatives for some of the network’s most prized original series. The most successful campaigns included The Affair, Masters of Sex, Homeland, Ray Donovan, Shameless, Penny Dreadful, House of Lies, Nurse Jackie, Episodes, Dexter, Weeds, Californication, and The Tudors.

Prior to Showtime, she was a senior editor at the NYC-based trailer house Giaronomo Productions – and spent a combined eight years at CNN, NBC and ABC. She has been recognized within the industry for writing, editing and producing – including numerous Promax, Clio/Key Art, CTAM, NY Festivals and Golden Trailer awards.

In her spare time, Angie is a still photographer specializing in portraiture. She and her partner, Ken, have two female cats, "Poppet" and "Morgan" (Morgan is named after Morgan Spurlock; Poppet has a serious crush on Ken).  They enjoy travel, biking, tennis and other sports.  Angie and Ken.  Not the cats.

ELAINE SIBERT / CO-FOUNDER AND EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

Elaine R. Sibert is a graduate of University of Texas Arlington, with a BBA in Finance. She went on the become the Executive Producer and Cofounder of Stone Core Films in Dallas in 1993 and Three (One) O in Los Angeles in 2008. Over the past 25 years, Elaine has produced award winning projects for clients at Fox Broadcasting, Showtime Networks, Gatorade, HBO, Spike, ABC, CNN, Food Network and many others. She has worked across country and around the world.

Elaine's focus on math and numbers has made her the lover of spreadsheets that she is today. She uses Excel to create budgets of course, but also to write letters, create pre-pro-books and pretty much everything else, even this bio.

Elaine has developed friendships with the people she has been lucky to work with for decades. They are friends that she hopes she can stay in touch with no matter where life takes us all.

In her spare time, Elaine enjoys spending time in Los Angeles with her husband, Jim Sibert and their dogs, Buster & Chewbacca. Their love of travel takes them on adventures around the world, throughout Europe, Africa, the Caribbean, and North and South America.
